In Eastern North Carolina, we're no strangers to hurricanes. But this particular storm is different, dropping more than 50 inches of rain on Houston and surrounding areas. No amount of emergency preparation could have prevented the astounding loss Texas families are experiencing right now. 

Any way you choose to help - through prayer, cash donations, or sending supplies - is always appreciated. If you're looking for a way to guarantee that your money and donations are going directly to a specific cause in the Houston area, we're benefiting the Texas Diaper Bank in San Antonio. Did you know that diapers are not generally provided by standard relief programs, and are incredibly limited in availability due to the storm? To assist families with young children, Beaufort Proper is now a drop off point for diapers of all sizes. Each week until the need is fulfilled, we will be sending mass donations of diapers to the San Antonio bank for distribution to flood victims. 

This Labor Day Weekend, 10% of our proceeds are also benefiting the Texas Diaper Bank to help cover the cost of delivering these care products to families in need. Each time you shop, you can also make a cash donation, giving the gift of comfort to a child, and peace of mind to parents.
