Our Boutique's Family History | Beaufort Proper

Beaufort Proper was built on a family philosophy - real families in Eastern North Carolina were looking for a boutique shopping experience that didn't break the bank. With two girls in college, Lisa was faced with dressing her girls for everything from lectures, sorority formals, speaking engagements, tailgates, socials, and more.

The idea was born: boutique style fashion without the boutique price tag. Having a packed schedule and being involved in the community means you have to dress the part. Beaufort Proper provides women in Eastern North Carolina with affordable style for every occasion, available in a comfortable, family setting. 

With our small town comes a sense of community. We want your shopping experience to be as easy and fun as borrowing something from your friend's closet.
