Home for the Holidays with Uashmama

If you've visited our showroom before, you know that we do things a little differently at Beaufort Proper. Our store is tucked into the woods of a beautiful 4-acre piece of land off of Highway 70 in Beaufort. The expansive property is home to a women's clothing boutique, home goods showroom, wedding venue, pond, and hideaway shed. To say that we like to stay busy would be an understatement. 

Most recently, our home goods showroom had a couple of well-traveled visitors - our friends Lindsay and Paul, the official US partners of the Italian family business, UASHMAMA®.

"While traveling through Tuscany on our honeymoon in May of 2014, my husband and I came across the UASHMAMA® (pronounced wash•mama) products in the Le Sorelle store in San Gimignano.  I immediately fell in love with the beautiful simplicity and craftsmanship that went into each and every bag.  We were sure our friends and family back home would love them too.  Thus, our journey began to make the UASHMAMA® products available in the U.S.  We hope they bring joy, creativity and fun to you and your home."

UASHMAMA® washable paper is made using a virgin fiber through cultivation and not deforestation. Paper that washes like fabric holding it’s form so it can be used over and over again promoting sustainability perfect for catering and home wares.
