Our Headbands of Hope Charity Event
Meet Embree.
Years ago, Embree battled cancer at the UNC Children's Hospital, where she met Jess Ekstrom, the founder of Headbands of Hope. The organization visits children undergoing cancer treatments to deliver messages of hope, along with stylish headbands to bring joy to kids in need. Embree even joined Jess on the Today Show to spread the message about HOH and their efforts to fund childhood cancer research.
Last year, Embree relapsed and Headbands of Hope was at her side every step of the way. Jess used 50% of website sales to help Embree's family with medical expenses.
You've helped us raise money for organizations like the Boys' and Girls' Club, Austin Veterinary Outreach, Autism Speaks, and more. And now, you can help us advance childhood cancer research with the help of Headbands of Hope on April 22nd! Download the flyer to help us spread the word, then get your tickets here!
