A Beaufort Proper Wedding
This is the second wedding we’ve hosted at Beaufort Proper, and the first wedding in the Beaufort Proper family - Rebecca and Tanner tied the knot on December 2nd, 2017.
The wedding was a sum of it’s parts - each detail was carefully thought out to reflect our lifestyle - locally sourced shrimp and grits, magnolia blooms from the bride’s backyard, ceremony benches hand made from trees cleared as our family began the Beaufort Proper journey. And while turning this four-acre piece of land into a showroom and wedding venue over more than a decade was no easy task, it was a labor of love.
These pictures by Marshall Sharp offer just a glimpse into one of our favorite nights to date at the Venue at Beaufort Proper. We highly recommend all of the vendors who helped make the night magical - scroll to the bottom to get in touch!

Good afternoon,
My name is Elizabeth Dennison, and I am recently engaged! I was browsing local venues for potential location for a wedding/reception, and found yours! Also getting my nails done the girl beside me said her friend was married here and it was beautiful. I wanted more information on availability, and rates please.
Date 11/14/2020
Guests 50-100
Does this space have a place for bride and groom to get ready?
We already have a caterer in mind, is there somewhere for them to prepare and or warm food for the reception?
Would access be granted Friday evening for dress rehearsal and setup?
Would this premises allow alcohol if permits and insured bartenders were hired?
What are your November rates?
Thank you for your time,
Elizabeth Dennison
